Madeline Anderson

I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program at Dallas Baptist University. I am passionate about helping people. I desire to help guide children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I feel privileged and hopeful to support clients in a safe environment where they can share their thoughts and feelings without judgment. I believe every person has a unique story, and I aim to build trusting and empathetic relationships with my clients. Whether they are facing anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, or personal growth challenges, I want to help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and build their overall confidence.

I have a special interest in working with children through play therapy, as it allows them to express themselves and process their emotions in a comfortable way. I also enjoy supporting adolescents and young adults as they explore their identities, manage academic stress, and navigate different family dynamics. My counseling style is based on empathy and respect for each person’s background. I work to create a welcoming space where clients feel accepted and empowered to make meaningful changes. As a counselor-in-training, I am dedicated to ongoing learning and providing ethical and compassionate care. My faith plays a significant role in my life and motivates me to help others with kindness and humility. I am honored to support clients and their families in their journeys toward healing and growth.
