Consultation

I love that I am able to offer a variety of virtual consultation groups at Compassion Counseling. We have groups for case consultation, starting and building a private practice, play therapy and child-centered play therapy.

Want to Know if our Group is Right for you?

Email me at compassionfamilycounseling@gmail.com I can answer any questions you may have or schedule a 15 minute phone call.

What is a Consultation Group? Why would I want to join? What benefit is there?

Do you remember the days when you were eagerly looking forward to moving beyond the supervision phase of your counseling career? However, as you transitioned from weekly supervision, you might have found yourself adrift, lacking the ongoing support you once relied on. Moving from structured supervision to no supervision or consultation at all isn’t just a challenge for your clients; it can also be a lonely journey that often leads to burnout.

With over a decade of experience as an LPC-supervisor, I’ve had the privilege of guiding remarkable counselors, and I understand the importance of continued support for fully licensed professionals seeking growth.

Our Consultation Group is designed to bridge this gap. We offer a dedicated, regularly scheduled forum where counselors can engage in open and confidential discussions. Whether you’re dissecting complex client cases, navigating ethical dilemmas, or sharing the challenges of your counseling career, our group provides a safe and supportive space where you can confide in trusted peers. The benefits are numerous: professional growth, valuable networking opportunities, and, most importantly, the ability to enhance the services you provide to your clients.

Our group is not bound by rigid structures; instead, it adapts to your unique needs as a counselor. Our primary goal is to foster a strong sense of community among our members, most of the attendees come regularly and build connections with others in the groups. We maintain a group size limited to 8-12 counselors, depending on the type of group. Due to this limited space and our emphasis on commitment, we encourage interested individuals to secure their spot promptly.

For those whom a full-time commitment may not be feasible, we also offer individual consultation services. Additionally, if you prefer a more casual approach to group consultation, we provide opportunities for intermittent, as-needed participation.

Join our Consultation Group and embark on a journey of growth, support, and camaraderie that will ultimately empower you to better serve your clients. To reserve your spot or request further information, please email us at compassionfamilycounseling@gmail.com.
