Jillian Rausche – Practicum student

I firmly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and attending to your mental well-being is essential to living your best life.

I am passionate about advocacy and research within the field of mental health. Recently, I had the opportunity to contribute to the field by co-authoring several scholarly articles published in the coming months regarding Positive Psychology interventions, Autism (to include cortisol levels in Autism), and Peer-Mediated versus Parent-Mediated Interventions.

I welcome the opportunity to serve the needs of individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds at Compassion Counseling.

I am communicative and collaborative in my approach and tailor my orientation based on your specific and unique needs through a warm, attentive, and empathetic lens.

Currently, I am a graduate-level Practicum student pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and recently received the honor of induction to Phi Kappa Phi, National Honor Society, for my academic achievement within my University’s Chapter.

Before pursuing my master’s degree, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Arizona State University. I also worked in various fields, gaining meaningful experiences with a vast array of unique individuals from countless walks of life.
